Set up your own boundaries, like using an alien operating system, limiting hardware resources, adopting new protocols, using an old machine (or using no machine at all), limiting online habits, using no GUI, etc.

What can you do nowadays with a single core and 512mb of RAM computer?

I'm about to find out...

I'll be running #slackware 15 with #dwm or maybe #jwm, and I'll be testing a bunch of stuff to see what works and what makes the computer fans turn it into a drone.

I decided to organize an Old Computer Challenge in Spanish with some friends and nerd communities I hang with :)

I'll be using an old Dell laptop with 1 core and 512 megs of RAM. It's gonna be interesting!

I've come to terms with the fact that I'm not good at keeping conversations alive on the Internet. Mainly because I tend to forget that I was having one in the first place 😅 .

Even on my blog, I never finished that last post for the #OldComputerChallenge. And never came back to the #Deadnet forums to talk about my experiences.

I should finish that post, at least.
