Jason: when you come to Seattle, make sure you prepare for cold and rain

Me throughout all of #SakuraCon2023: okay, it is raining a bit, but temperature wise this is basically SF temps, and inside the con and my hostel is even warmer than my house. Idk why Jason told me to bring all this extra clothes...

Later, me at Jason's house for the last night before I fly back home: Okay, he keeps his house a bit colder than I'd like, but this is expected, guess I'll put on an undershirt

Me waking up at 04:00: Yo wtf it is coooold, I need more layers. *Puts on every extra t-shirt I have, so I'm wearing 4 shirts, a sweater, and a blanket*

There was some things that happened that meant @Jason_Gamedev and I didn't have the best #SakuraCon2023 day 3, but at least we got to finish it watching anime and getting wasted off #StrongZero.

Second, I remembered 30 mins prior to landing that I had a #gatchapon from #KuraSushi in my bag I've been meaning to build. This turned out to be not so bright of an idea, with a few close calls losing some pieces, but I managed to finish the piece right after we landed and before we reached the gate.  And apparently it came with plenty of extra pieces left over.

Couple things that happened on my flight to Seattle. Didn't get to see my house from above, we turned too steeply, but I did get to see the site of the last #AnimeCon I visited, #CarrierCon last month on the #USSHornet museum. Being a ship, it's pretty easy to spot from the air.

#HotPot and unlimited milk tea with some new friends (and some old) as my last proper meal before con: great

Double jeopardy with spicy food and lactose consumption right before I have to go to sleep at 01:30 to wake up for a 09:00 shift: not so great

But I'm sure there will be worse decisions made at #SakuraCon2023. Just ask my wallet. 😅

I happen to be flying out of that same # no SFO terminal today to attend an #AnimeCon. I wonder what time Kaguya's flight arrives lol. (Does this technically count as an otaku pilgrimage? It's only 20 mins from my house tho.)
