@Mastodon good idea. I've been worried this service wouldn't last and revenue will ensure it does. I've also always thought governments should be running their own instances rather than run their communications via a closed social network so hope this encourages buy-in

@dansup The Fediverse needs better branding. Don't use 'Tube', it was already outdated when YouTube launched. Pixelfed sounds like it's a federal agency. Friendica? What? And don't get me started on 'Mastodon' which I think would have way more users if it wasn't called 'Mastodon'
