Love is sharing a password.
Last night I used a womens bathroom where one of the doors was fully broken in half.
A cis girl came in and after not wanting to wait for my friend to finish, she asked me if I'd just stand in front of the door and hold it closed for her, so I did.
Kinda defeats the whole narrative transphobes spread of how we're scary trans people that cis women will always be afraid of a bit huh.
Remember that! People offline aren't like the extremist bigots online at all.
Why do some people use GitLab instead of GitHub? GitHub is so much easier!
If they use something self-hosted like gitea or something I can understand and agree (even tho I still prefer GitHub - easier to follow, get updates, send issues, etcetera), but thatโs not the case: itโs one centralized service for another.
(Now that I think about it, itโd be really nice to have some kind of federated decentralized git service. Kinda like ActivityPub, but for Git. So you could have a GitHub account and follow/star a project on GitLab, for example)
To sum up where the Fediverse is right now:

Am I missing anyone?
Oh yeah, YOU back it!
Want to help out with development of Toot!? I have been doing some large internal rewriting, and probably introduced some exciting new bugs in the process, so I thought it might be best to do a public beta for this version to shake them out a bit before release.
The link to join the beta is here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/x0MbQhMF
Only join if you are happy to deal with some bugs! Or, if you want a free trial of Toot! and donโt mind a potential bug or two.
