Also links to a quick tutorial, and info about bullet journals by the inventor!

I haven't tried this yet but - when I remember that planners exist - I've been using systems with similar characteristics for a while, and they're the only ones which have even kinda worked.

Why the Bullet Journal is the Best Planner for ADHD Brains

YouTube
@muninn I use one, but very much in my own way. I use it as a planning and analysis devise, and I use digital apps for capturing appointments and such, which I add to the bujo later. But the bujo is key because I love handling it, and turning the pages, and writing in it, which encourages me to actually check it and makes my weekly and monthly planning, prioritizing, and analysis more fun.
@intherain Sounds like a good combo. Yeah, there's no way it will replace my phone prompting me for time-based events. But I could stand an improvement over my current weekly planner format, which doesn't have any built in positive reinforcement like you describe!

@muninn Oh yeah, without the Due app I would be forgetting my meds left and right, and bedtime, and when I'm supposed to eat lunch.

I heard an #ADHD doc say once that clearly therapeutic doses of amphetamines aren't addictive because his patients could never remember to take theirs. And what addict just forgets to take their drug over and over again.

@intherain haha, I have a suuuper annoying timer to remember to take my dexedrine, my insurance wouldn't cover extended release so I take it 4x a day with an increasing interval between each 😑
