I had never heard of the Searl Effect before. This is all a new kind of witchcraft they never taught me in school. Something about "laws of physics" etc... :P
@davidpgil For something like this, I think the trick is a whole lot of patience and to go slowly. In terms of skill, there's not a lot of demand, except for maybe a bit of soldering here and there
As for the coils, there are jigs and models you can use to speed up the process and make sure the windings are nice and neat
I think the real skill is finding the free time ;)

It's basically a desk lathe with a spool and a clicker (those thumb counters) to count the turns. Very clever setup that saves a lot of time
