@tribeone Good point. The questions are posed mostly to myself in the hope that I might, one-day, be able to answer them.

Perhaps I should have just said "constructive criticism welcome", with the context that the image doesn't have any particular purpose other than to pander to my like of textural images.

@paynekj Well, at this point all I can say, the left one seems to be better. Usually I like that sort of warmth you have in the right one, but in that image I can see no reason for why I want it there. My 2ยข anyway.
