@brinsonmarie Did you keep the hand and the background on different layers to do that? Rack focus is super cool in comics but I'm occasionally like ???? on how to actually accomplish it

@caitlike That would have been smart of me (... I'll probably do that in the future), but this time, I just used Photoshop's field blur -- it gives you pretty fine control over which parts of the panel you blur.

@brinsonmarie Wow this is so pretty and detailed! It looks like a lot of effort was put into it, and it came out nice! Also that blur effect (had no idea it was called rack focus. Sounds very fancy) is super neat, I gotta try that in my next illustrations
