I've got a whole bunch of books I *have* to read before I can get back to the books I *want* to read. Though some of the have-tos are also want-tos, so it could be worse. I'm basically just whining that since I started reviewing for other sites and accepting ARCs, I've had to introduce discipline to my reading life.
@KateSherrod I did this for quite a while. Then I reached this point - https://mjmoore.wordpress.com/2015/07/25/being-honest-about-that-tbr-pile-and-reviewing/ - then I pretty much stoped reviewing.
Being honest about that TBR pile, and reviewing….

I’ve recently had a few ‘issues’ with my reading – I may have called it a lost-reading-mojo or something, but if I’m honest, I think it’s more to do with pressur…

@MJBookWorm My first move was to limit the number of books I requested at a time. I'm still not cool enough to get solicited, thank goodness. Also, it's nice being part of groups like The Insatiable Booksluts and Skiffy and Fanty, so I've got the chance to pass a book I'm not digging to a partner who might like it (I don't write negative reviews. If I don't like a book, I don't write about it).

But damn, some of my friends are publishing sequels before I've read the first one!

@KateSherrod oh yea, I just gradually reduced. I will occasionally request something which looks great, but it’s rare now.
