Ken LoweryA thought I had last night re: Mastodon vs. Twitter: I started on Twitter to follow reporters and publications because I had a page budget to fill on my own paper and it made sense to keep track of breaking news. On Mastodon... where does the news come from?
It may just not work that way, or I may have to re-align my thinking.
Neon Dusk@kenlowery I think this might be why I'm having an easier time using Mastodon as a replacement, because to me Twitter started as a way to broadcast my thoughts, random as they may be, and see if people were interested and/or agree with them.
