#Question for everyone: What classic or long-dead writers are new to you this year?

#question pour tout le monde:
!uels "longtemps" auteurs ou classiques avez-vous découvert en 2017?

@ColourOfSpring Well, I've focused on new releases this year, so not many. I've read my first Joyce, nice but I'm probably not going for Ulysses just yet. You've made me aware of Barbara Pym, so that might still be this year's discovery.
@ColourOfSpring I am going to read the seemingly classic (but not known by me) fantasy author Fritz Leiber : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fritz_Leiber, I've just bought and received the first two tomes of the Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser stories :)

Cesare Pavese. Fell in love with his books! Especially the novels.
