@clacke I suspect the green angle will probably be an extremely successful vector for "smart city" stuff, all over the world. And to some extent perhaps it should be, it may be easier to retrofit better power management stuff to old buildings than to partially rebuild them using the latest passive technologies. I suspect you could reap the majority of the available savings without the data leaving the building, though.

@solderpunk Yes. What will happen though is, the data will leave the building. And the Americans, Russians, Chinese and North Koreans will be controlling it.
