I realized I've not actually mentioned my #gamedev #gameing project, Krasten, on here before today. So here goes:

It's a text-based, open-world RPG based on the idea of building a 'single-player MUD' based in a gritty cyberpunk world. I've been working on it for over a year now, on and off. :3

Fun fact: I played video poker in real life for the first time a few months ago. I already knew how to be pretty good at it, because I'd designed my video poker minigame to be as close to the real thing as possible.
@gravecat the idea that "video poker in real life" is a thing is amazing
@Mycroft Heheh. Well, you know what I mean. :3 Like a real physical machine that takes real money, rather than a simulation of one.

@gravecat A machine dedicated to running software that stimulates playing with real cards, rather than just running the software (that stimulates playing with real cards) directly.

I feel the need to do that cgi brain meme thing with a few more layers, culminating in just playing with cards directly

@Mycroft And then the final image of the meme is just "52 pickup"
