@spiderrobotpig I like the theory/idea behind your instance, but there was one issue I can't agree with or overlook.
Under "Stuff that isn’t okay":
> Asking someone to educate you about an aspect of their identity

While I understand the rationale behind this and the corresponding type of harassment it aims to prevent, I find that, as an asexual, my (lack of) sexuality is very personal and often not understood, even by other asexuals.

@spiderrobotpig I *need* people to be able to ask me questions about my asexuality so I can answer and explain how it works for me. I don't feel like other asexuals represent me and I don't think they can really explain both their asexuality and my asexuality together without causing confusion. burners.social seems like it aims to make that kind of conversation possible and I hope you can find a better way to explain that rule.

@amnet Yeah, that's reasonable. It's more of a "don't ask for unwarranted labor"

If you want to answer, that's fine. But if the question is easily answered by googling, then it just becomes an easy set-up for harassment
