On the upside, the "learn how to say no" goal for the year is going well.

Boss: "Hey, Mia, what if we did this huge thing that would fall mostly/entirely on you, would that be co--"
Me: *two middle fingers up, sunglasses down, rolls outta the place*

@Dauntless I relate!! sometimes, my managers call me in last-minute or make me stay over my scheduled hours w/o letting me know ahead of time. Saying "no" is kinda difficult in general, but we can both do it ^^
@cfmv Yeah, they're trying to rope me in to being on-call 24/7. You just gotta decide where the line is for you, and stand your fucking ground like the Borg are on the other side. THIS FAR. NO FURTHER.
@Dauntless that's what I feel like they're trying to do to me too!! it's kinda hard bc it's my first job ever (aside from taking care of kitties when I was in HS) & I want to make a good impression, & my managers are stressed out a lot, but...I agree with you about drawing the line.
@Dauntless Another issue is that I want money to pay for school, but I also need to draw the line! But money. But my mental health! But other life priorities...etc
