brooke@jk @plsburydoughboy @Gargron So this is the first I've learned of Big Eli except talk about HPMOR, but reading his Wikipedia entry about teaching machines to default to human-friendly behaviors, I'm reminded of our dog trainer: she basically helped us teach our doggo that, when he's mixed up & doesn't know what to do, sitting is always a rewarding default action.
