TFW you didn't go to a fancy university 🎓 and don't get to graduate with a robe and hat 🎓

I'm still great thought!

@maloki How do you get around writing something like a thesis without paying hundreds of dollars purchasing studies and papers that are locked behind paywalls? I'm only asking because I know you are a student, and I'm trying to do some research for a personal project and finding the concept of 'paying' to access information kind of infuriating.
@jess students get access to a lot of that through their university login, but not everything, sometimes your uni didn't buy in to certain platforms etc..
@maloki @jess depending on how much infuriating you find the fact that you are required to pay to access research that has largely been supported by public funding, you may consider using alternative sources that circumvent paywalls. This primarily means Sci-hub, which I think is a great example of the difference between "legal" and "legitimate" http://www.sciencemag.org/news/2016/04/whos-downloading-pirated-papers-everyone
