In response to @MiaG, my #showmeyourcoffee is #TurkishCoffee. I'm still not good at pouring off only the foam, but this one was OK. It's the only coffee I put sugar in (although you can add other things, too, if you want). And, my apologies to the craftsmen at #Sozen in #Turkey. Their grinder really does look better than this, I've just neglected it.

@SlowRain It looks so good, I can feel the smell. 😍 My grandmother had similar grinder, it reminds me of her. I woke up in stages, haven't had my coffee yet.
@MiaG @SlowRain this looks awesome

@soapdog @MiaG The foam isn't right on it, though. I think the last #TurkishCoffee photo I posted is better.

It's a more intense flavor than pourover, but not as intense as espresso, & I doubt it would ever be as bright/sour. I think it's certainly fun to make, that's for sure.

@SlowRain @MiaG looks great! Hope it tasted just as good!
@fred @MiaG The taste is more intense than the same beans brewed as a pourover. However, it's not as intense as espresso, nor as bright/sour.
@SlowRain @MiaG interesting how much the mode of making the coffee affects the very same beans very differently

@fred @MiaG Yes. The beans I'm using are the ones from my #roastingcoffee pic a couple weeks ago. I'm not enjoying them as a #pourover, but they're fine as #Turkishcoffee--the same way an #espresso blend is rather bland when brewed as a pourover.
