Today's adventure: there is a squirrel stuck in our attic. So we're going to close the pets in bathrooms, open the outside doors, and pull the attic stairs down and Have An Adventure.

Hopefully a brief one.

Adventure follow-up: anticlimax. So we're guessing the squirrel is there *voluntarily*, and left when I went up the pull-down stairs.

So we'll have to sprinkle some mothballs or whatever the current wisdom is for Don't Nest Here indicators, and hope that discourages it. Or that the complex owns a live-trap (it likely does).

Follow-up follow-up: The squirrel(s) continue chewing on the house, so they're either trying to get *in* (from at least two corners) or they just got reeeeeally quiet while I was up there. 😒
@gamehawk I was told cayenne pepper, for keeping squirrels out of gardens anyway. It seemed to work okay last year.
@ivanvector @gohomekiki Yeah, if we can manage to get it to the areas they're chewing on. Pretty sure they're under the eaves trying to get in, so that may not be accessible. May just call building maintenance and let them deal with it.
