The lead partner of our office stopped by my office this morning to say that he, and the entire office, appreciate all that I do. That I'm doing a great job and he told our office manager about it because he wants word of it to get out.
That made my day. All too often, I wonder if I'm actually helping or if I'm doing even an adequate job. I'm not resting on my laurels, but that certainly made me feel much better.
@beare I had a coworker tell me today she appreciated me and the work that I do. It makes such a positive difference and takes such a short amount of time to deliver.
Thank you for your toot. It reminded me to be grateful for the gift I was given.
@awedjob I love hearing this. It makes me happy that other people get that as well. You're right, it's such a small thing, takes no time at all. But the effect is immediate and lasting.
