@aeonofdiscord for the longest time, W wasn't a part of the Swedish alphabet, and for reasons, I maintain it still isn't

these reasons are obscure and long-winded, and not likely to be communicated in a clear fashion whilst chips are flying, as in, say, a fight on the bird page
