Here's an #art before bed :) This is from my mandala colouring book (https://www.amazon.com/Meditative-Garden-Mandala-Coloring-Serene/dp/1454710284), coloured with Faber Castell Pitt brush pens ^.^

@WelshPixie That is amazing! How much time do you think you have in that one?
@spridlewv Ooh I don't know. I drew it digitally so it probably didn't take that long to draw (using krita which has a lovely multibrush mode that repeats your pattern around a circle - great for mandalas), and colouring it took maybe six hours? The book is big-ish, this one has a diameter of 23cm :)

@WelshPixie @spridlewv 6 hrs to color something?!?

Wow.

@OldandConfused @spridlewv It's shaded, which involves re-colouring sections to get the heavier colour - and those tiny details take a surprisingly long time ^.^
@WelshPixie @spridlewv
I don't get coloring. Shades and hued in particular are just unnecessary.
@OldandConfused @spridlewv I don't do it because it's necessary. ^.^

@WelshPixie @spridlewv

Ah... Yea, I write crappy short stories for that kind of thing. Coloring isn't fun when people constantly make fun of you for being incapable of telling colors apart.

@OldandConfused @spridlewv Well, kick 'em in the nuts when they do that. THAT's fun at least. :p

@WelshPixie @spridlewv I first discovered it by a bitch 3rd grade teacher screeching at me about being a little snot because I painted the American flag green, white, and blue...

I had no clue wtf was going on.

Obviously, it scarred me for life.

@OldandConfused @WelshPixie Thats understandable. I was the fat kid, so I understand scarred for life.
@spridlewv @OldandConfused It was the other way around in our school. We went through six French teachers because we had a couple of kids in our class who'd do things like lock the teachers in the supply closets and the teachers kept having nervous breakdowns.
@WelshPixie @spridlewv Wow... That's horrible.
@OldandConfused @spridlewv Yeeeeah it was a bit nuts. I was the quiet studious teacher's pet so I'd kinda just sit at the back and hide until everything blew over.
@WelshPixie @spridlewv Wow. The guilt from your inaction must be killer now.
@OldandConfused @spridlewv Eh. I may not have helped the teachers but I eventually helped one of the kids that was causing all this stuff. His parents had died when he was young, he was living with his gran and was very close with her, then she died and that's what kicked him off - except nobody knew, everyone just thought he was 'a nutter'. Amusingly his name was Damien and he was a red-head.
@WelshPixie @spridlewv "We went on a month long sex and crime spree, and then fled to South Africa."
@OldandConfused @spridlewv Heh. The real ending to the story is a downer so sure let's go with that one ;p
@WelshPixie @spridlewv I feel the same way about mine.

@spridlewv @WelshPixie Sorry for your trauma, man.

We're all screwed up here!

@OldandConfused @WelshPixie Yes, I tend to fit in better among the screwed up crowd.
@spridlewv @WelshPixie They're certainly my people!
