interesting that you cant delete account on mastodon yet.

I wanted to leave another instance I dont use much anymore but couldnt find a delete button so I just made my profile and header completely white, unfollowed everyone, blocked anyone following me, locked my account, and deleted my posts. This was quicker than it sounds cause I didnt have much on that account

@weinspace other sites also do not delete it, they just hide it from view. At least we are honest here.

@weinspace i did not like the server I first joined so I had to do the same. I assume they will have to come up with a way to move accounts at one point.
