I'm gonna be making my world famous chicken chili on Thursday to take to a potluck on Friday. I should probably write down the recipe since it is my #1 most requested dish by family, friends, classmates, coworkers, etc. You name it, you eat it once, you want it always.
This reminds me I have hella notes banked on an actually well written budget cookbook/how to pick out food/use seasonings/etc guide I really ought write being a lifelong poor who gets it
My GF says with my love of cooking/food and writing both I really could knock it out of the park for whimsical cookbooks that AREN'T condescending or dry
My sensei knows I'm hella into cooking, I mean he's commissioned stuff off me for his wife before, and he agrees I ought do this, or start a cooking show that combines this and my love of swordsmanship. He wanted to name it something like The Culinary Samurai and I said Lesbian Samurai Kitchen was catchier and he absolutely agreed
But the faves I'm getting on this tell me y'all want some cool recipes, I'll keep that in mind and start jotting some of my faves down soon
Being Mastodon's official samurai and chef would be a pretty cool combo/gimmick for me here. Come for dinner, stay for sword stories.
