@Cocoron Spending one hour a day on a hobby/learning something does wonders to one's mental health, at least in my experience
@[email protected] practice can make people better but you don't have to be consumed by something to become proficient in it or to enjoy it. and as @deoh says it really does help. I find that any time spend drawing focuses my attention to something positive and expressive.
Some people like to think that they are better or something by spending every waking moment on a topic but it is not the case for everyone and doesn't suit everyone.
I'd say keep drawing :)
