It's so interesting seeing all the different types of online personas people create to share with the world. So many of them seem geared towards who they are professionally. I was hoping that this platform would be more about people connecting personally, leaving their professional personas aside, but as long as there's media coverage, there will be people bringing their professional selves along too, which seems kind of sad.
@Euphoria and hopefully their interests and hobbies. I don't talk about how my day went online, but I do love sharing articles I'm reading about which I find interesting.
@danie10 Yes, exactly! It's so great to see the weird and wonderful stuff people are sharing over here. To be fair, one can find such things shared on other sites, too, but it seems necessary to sift through so many other types of things first. So much so that I usually lose interest and just leave before getting to the good stuff.
@Euphoria I can see where different Instances may come in - where art, math, stamp collectors may have their own instances and we may use multiple IDs for this. If I post a lot about Steam Engines and Green Tech, you may just want to see my Green Tech posts. I suppose as Maston and its Instances mature we'll get a better feel for how to optimize usage.
