@eric Thank you, it's good to be back! I actually did some coffee tourism and brought back over 2kg of coffee beans with me as souvenirs..
@turumore wow! did you get pre-roasted or are you going to try and roast?! 😀
@eric They're all pre-roasted, we don't have a roaster yet and I'm not comfortable using a frying pan for roasting.
We visited some roasteries that I'm a big fan of (e.g. Small Batch Coffee, http://smallbatchcoffee.co.uk/), but found some new roasteries as well (e.g. Taylor St Baristas, https://www.taylor-st.com/).
Overall, fun times! Coffee overload.. ☕
@turumore just in case you have the required tools, i was able to roast some raw beans on an outdoor grill and a wok! the neighborhood smelled like burnt popcorn for hours! 😂
@eric Cool! Yeah, I've seen people using all sorts of equipment for roasting. I'm just not confident in wasting some beans just yet.. But gotta start somewhere!
