Very interesting past few days in Finland.
The nationalist Finns Party elected a new leadership last weekend. The newly elected lead is known for their Eurosceptism and anti-immigration writings, and they've also been convicted of hate speech. The Finnish PM quickly condoned the new leadership, and said the Government cannot continue with the party. Today a majority of the Finns Party members announced they will create a new party ("New Alternative"), leaving the old party in a tight spot.
The sun is shining, it feels like summer. Cup of coffee, a mild breeze, not as stressful at work. It's been a better start for the week.
I did get hella wet out in the rain yesterday, but that was yesterday. 🌞 🕶
How is everyone else doing?
Good morning. I'm almost out of coffee, and I heard sad news from London first thing.
I know London spirit is strong, so I'm not worried. I've always felt safe in London after my first year of visiting the city, whether it's night or day. I've learned to feel the city as is and its people, the vibrant culture but the quiet back streets, the people who will plough through the masses to get where they need to be, and .. Well, it's London. I won't live there, but I feel it.
Wow, another week went by.
I had ups and downs, stressful times enough to spark a migraine that stole a complete working day, only to end up on a positive note today and me applying for another position internally. So I guess things are going pretty well?
How is your weekend looking, how was your week?
Booking some accommodation for my holiday in Edinburgh and Glasgow later this summer.
Got any sightseeing tips? I've got a week to spend. Don't like golf, but I do like whisky and nature. Give me your best shot!
