Adam CroomAlright, so some brief thoughts on Mastodon. There is a common misnomer that open source = better. Anything that's open source still needs a funding model because it's made by humans and humans need a living wage. The quickest way to support open source is to fund it. If you don't fund it, don't get mad when the creator decides to take a living wage over their pet project. It happens all. the. time.
