@stitchxd @mcscx I think the BPi is better as a microserver. The fact it needs less blobware (or did when I got it) is also a plus. #libre

@stitchxd @mcscx Firmware or drivers that we don't have source code for, or can't change for some other reason (e.g. signing).

@koz @mcscx Isn't the Pi Open source hardware? Wouldn't that include drivers....?

@stitchxd @mcscx It's about as 'open source' as the average bit of openwashing. It couldn't even *boot* without blobware until recently.

@koz @mcscx The bootloader for the pi has been open source for years now though.. So I don't really understand what you mean? Maybe I am confusing this with something else - can you cite the source for that statement?

@koz @mcscx Thanks for the information and understanding! Looks like a good read, so I'll put it on my todo list :D Most people on here just tell me i'm a fool for not using FOSS. (But to me, the pi is (Or maybe *was* after reading this document) FOSS.
