If you or your hosting provider are subpoenaed for any reason (which, if you are a public instance, could happen at ANY TIME) and they find such imagery, you are opening yourself to prison time.

18 U.S.C. § 2252 provides for harsh penalties for dissemination of child pornography: 15 to 30 years and an unlimited fine. State laws usually mandate anyone convicted be registered as a sex offender.

This is no joke. People have gone to jail for this for less.
