Aleksander Piotrowski@davetaylor now Fedora 25 previously Ubuntu. Why? latest #gnome and #wayland by default. works like a charm. for the first time users i'd suggest #ubuntu though as lots of docs and tutorials are for #ubuntu
@pelotasplus Not to sound clueless, but... is Fedora formerly known as Red Hat or is it a fork?
@davetaylor i'd say it was previously known. fedora is backed by redhat so wouldn't call it a fork
