Yes, there are languages other than english on the federated timeline, quel horreur!!. This is a feature, not a bug. Insisting that it is only english is horrible for more reasons than I have space to talk about here.

If you do want to suggest something to get a timeline where you can read all the posts don't be a racist dickbag while you do it.

Example: asking for language tags on toots may actually be useful, saying something about escaping the rice and sushi is fucking terrible

@inmysocks Agreed! I have seen a lot of Japanese in other instances and the only thing I think about is "What does it say? Can Google or Bablefish translate it?". It doesn't bother me in the least.
