The way my mind works... Everything's so scattered; I come to conclusions that I can't logically explain; I can't 'show my work' I have no idea how I actually came to a solution and yet... It very often turns out right.

Is that actually smart? I don't think so. It feels like I'm not actually the one doing the thinking. I reach a conclusion and then I have to work backwards to rationalize what I thought. Isn't that actually antithetical to logical reasoning?

@indecisivetwat
we are ADHD (dx last year) and autistic (self-dx recently). We do this constantly... it's intuition/ pattern recognition for us and it's sometimes in ways that look like magic to others.

This is extraverted intuition, finding solutions with as little information possible. Introverted intuition is more complete, more detailed and safer, but with less fireworks 🎆🎇🎆

That's how we've come to understand ourselves.

@KabitTarah I guess then it all gets down to my main concern about wanting to share my knowledge with others and this all makes it so much harder to relay my thoughts.
@indecisivetwat
it's not impossible... we have many years in networking and know the fundamentals really well. When we were starting it was harder to connect ANY dots from problem to solution... now, when we DO backtrack we are developing something flawed and we know it. We rely on our detail oriented (possibly also ND) team members to help us find what we've missed
@KabitTarah It's not such a complex system in here; it's just me and Ana, and it's quite possible thinking's even harder for her.

@indecisivetwat
by system... place of work? Small teams would be tough... we've never done that

(just making sure you mean multiple people 'cause our personal multiple-system isn't complex but our work team is 30 people) 😊

@KabitTarah Oh derp, sorry, my reading comprehension sometimes is just... ugh. I hear what I want to hear.

I was talking about headmates. Not external people. Sorry. >.<

@indecisivetwat
😂 well, on that... Lucy is horrible with work things but has learned a lot of social fitting in things. She's more impulsive and works well with people, but it's hard to pin down on work.
Karen fronts more often lately and is our tech worker. She never learned to pretend to be NT. She also has more tech experience overall.
We're median, though... so a lot IS shared
@KabitTarah Median? To be honest, I don't really know too much about all this. Ana just kinda popped up about a year ago and hey, I guess we're a plural system now. >w<
@indecisivetwat median means we don't switch with amnesia and share a lot of memory and ability and things... though not 100%
We're probably OSDD-1b (and we fully support endogenic systems - those who didn't come from childhood trauma)
@KabitTarah Hehe, okay, now I'm delightfully lost; this is all new knowledge to me. ^w^
@indecisivetwat
sorry 😬 we're not good at educating others... we do have resource links if you need some, but you seem to have a start 😊
