So lets get a follow chain sorta thing going. If you are currently a active penetration tester, security analyst, red team member. Comment on this message. That way others can see it and follow you making it easy for them to get more infosecy content.

@r4stl1n security consultant with a focus on mobile applications, liberation technologies, and general appsec
@r4stl1n I'm spread across a few different projects, filling analyst, ISO, and software security roles. Also some ICS/SCADA security and a dose of the weird stuff.
@r4stl1n May I ask, what is a red team??
@SergioIChiari A red team or red team member is an individual who dosen't only focus on the network side of things but also the physical and social aspects. Generally when engaged we are given a target and that is it. After that whatever means we want to use "Breaking into the building, social engineering employees, or going after the network" is up to us. Generally it involves all of those aspects.

@r4stl1n testing pens, ovens, IoT and sex toys. Thanks boss, why can't I just pop normal shells like the other kids?

@r4stl1n I'll play. Security engineer by trade in the data breach and identity theft arena. A Jack of all trades, but quickly reminded otherwise if ever I fancy myself a master. Forensicator, researcher, a bit more blue than red. A few #IoT CVEs to my credit.

I also write https://securityforrealpeople.com to pull back the veil and make #infosec accessible to Muggles - because not everyone needs or wants to be a security expert, but everyone needs to know how to stay safe.

@r4stl1n I may or may not work in InfoSec ;)
