Tim RoweI recently up my Laptop as a dual-boot for Windows 10 / Linux Mint.
For some reason, despite WiFi connecting to my router OK, no web sites will resolve in the browser. No response from the Mint forum at all.

@Rtzq0 Have tried ping but no response. Currently able to connect to WiFi via tethering Android phone.
@timrowe That looks suspiciously unlike the output of nslookup google.com ;-)

@timrowe just tested this on a mint VM. Even if you have no network connection that command produces an output. Please keep in mind that I'm trying to help a random stranger on the internet for free, please either supply screenshots or copy-pasted terminal output. Otherwise I'm not going to be able to justify spending time trying to help.
