Tim RoweI recently up my Laptop as a dual-boot for Windows 10 / Linux Mint.
For some reason, despite WiFi connecting to my router OK, no web sites will resolve in the browser. No response from the Mint forum at all.
Pummelator@timrowe I had the same thing happen to me. I couldn't figure out what was going on with it, so I've just been using the Windows install.
Out of curiosity, what version of Mint and what laptop model are you using?
@Pummelator Kind of glad it's not just me. It's the most recent version of Mint and I'm on a Lenovo ideapad 110.
@timrowe Mine is Mint 17.2 Xfce on an Asus F555L.
It seems like it isn't an issue isolated to one brand or to one version of Mint. I'm thinking about replacing my 17.2 install with a 17.0 install (I have 17.0 installed on another computer and I like it just a little bit better than 17.2. It is also Xfce).
If I wind up doing that, I'll let you know if it solves anything.
@Pummelator Thanks. i suspect my problem has to do with the specific model i am using, more than the Linux distro.
