I'm wondering what kind of portable computer you'd have if money was no object, if you could have any computer in the world.

I was so thrilled for a long with the iPod Touch 3 that I got in 2010, until the apps stopped working & it could no longer be synced because the machines it had been synced with were long dead.

@Euphoria I would stick with me 13" Macbook Air but would max out the SSD drive to the maximum currently available. I imagine that is either 1TB or 2TB.

@Euphoria Yeah, about 2 years and it is still running strong. I use it for work which includes storing a lot of photographs and it's been great. The battery life is exceptional, as well. And...it is super light.

@Euphoria They seem to sell refurbished stuff on the Apple Store site. I would check there first.

@farrar Alas, where I live one may only receive a single package with a value up to $500 every six months, so I have to choose carefully. We don't have home package delivery either. Buildings do not have street addresses.

@farrar It's well worth it to me. It's a wonderful place to live in most ways. If one's patient one can often find someone who'll be coming from another country to send something to and have the person bring it. At the moment I'm hoping that someone will bring me some marmite soon.
