Okay, so I have spent the last several hours talking about the alt-right, and accidentally upsetting a linkedin fan.

Now it's time to do something a little more productive.

So, what is your favorite film that I probably haven't seen?

@ajroach42 I rather like the Pursuit of Happyness
@ajroach42 box of moonlight
@OneManicNinja What's this about? I haven't even heard of it.
@ajroach42 john turturro and sam rockwell. it's just beautiful. i can't eat a tomato without remembering that movie.
@OneManicNinja I'll take a look. Thanks for the suggestion.
@ajroach42 rockwell is a genius in that one... let me know what you think!

@OneManicNinja Just checked the wikipedia page for this one, and I'm amazed I've never heard of it?

I'll have to look in to it for sure.

@ajroach42
Only guessing what films you might have seen, I'd say: "World on a wire"

@peter 70s german flick about virtual reality? Letterbox. I think it was originally a made for TV movie?

I haven't seen it in a few years, but I remember *really* enjoying it when I saw it. (either right before or right after the criterion collection edition? I think I got it from cinemagedon.)

@ajroach42 Guess I will have to try harder, then... ;)
@ajroach42 Most recent favorite is Don't Think Twice. Just felt like a new classic for me.
@jacoby Never even heard of that, but the cast and crew look pretty much perfect, so it's towards the top of the list. Thanks!
@ajroach42 also Boyhood. Dunno how you feel about dramedies but those are my recs.
@jacoby I heard mixed-but-leaning-towards-good things about boyhood. I've been meaning to watch it.
@ajroach42 Have you seen Force Majuere? The premise is that an avalanche looks like it's about to hit a hotel balcony, and the father of a family there runs away to save himself, leaving the family behind. The rest of the movie is the fallout from that moment.
@Berthavlix that's sounds pretty familiar, but I don't think I've seen it. Any good?
@ajroach42 Yes, it's beautifully shot, and the faintly ridiculous premise gets stretched out and deepened by the characters' reactions afterward. I really enjoyed it.
@Berthavlix I'll add it to the list. Thanks!
@ajroach42 The Man From Earth
@MacJezza with David Bowie! Weird flick.
@ajroach42 nah, the one with John Billingsley and Richard Riehle.

@MacJezza Oh, yeah. Right, right , right. I was thinking of "The Man Who Fell to Earth"

Different thing all together.

I feel like I have seen the Man From Earth? But I can't be sure right now. I'll check when I get home tonight.
