I guess Mastodon is mostly Japanese? Having a hard time finding people to follow

@pnathan I was looking at the global feed and there’s seemed to be a lot of Japanese and Chinese. Maybe it’s just the time of day.

But anyway I’m looking at some hashtags. Is there a way to search just for non-tagged words? That would be helpful.

@MeadBadger there is not. It was a design choice to limit harassment.

Time of day plays a big part in which countries are contributing.

@MeadBadger you can check the #ff tag or look at who the interesting people follow. At least that's what I do.
