I have been trying to journal more instead of oversharing lately. Find a journal app you trust, or start a Super Secret personal Twitter. If you’re panicking about world news and want to tweet about it, consider the impact those tweets may have on others around you. If you need a way to vent about things you’re scared of or feelings you want to get off your chest, journaling helps. I get so used to using this space as the way I process stuff that I forget that I can write things just for me.

If you like the Twitter style of organizing your thoughts, creating a locked account that only you have access to may be helpful.

If you’re looking for a good journal/diary app:

Writing your feelings down is a valid way to process them, and keeping them gives you the ability to revisit them later. Remember that you will be able to revisit those thoughts later. Good or bad, you’ll be able to look back and recall how you felt. I’m sorta learning all this myself. Trying to process my feelings in a way that’s more for me and less for the benefit of an audience.
Especially tonight, you don’t need to seek validation for your feelings. Know that a whole lot of us are scared and that you aren’t alone.
@kadybat Something I do sometimes is just write direct posts with nobody tagged in them. Doesn't show to anyone but me
