My PhD thesis has been accepted, and it is in no small part thanks to the gentle, thoughtful, sometimes forceful prodding of @katebowles through both my undergrad and PhD life. I got sick during my first year of the PhD, and having Kate's advice, experience, and comparing of notes helped so much.
