Stumps@acw it's weird that the only thing I really miss from Philly is the pretzels. I mean occasionally I want a cheesesteak or something but I really miss the pretzels... and wawa.

that said, there was a time here in CA when i forgot how delicious a real cheesesteak was. i lost the faith, and life was a little drabber for it. then i took a trip to PA and found a great hole in the wall and daaaaaaamn. memory restored.
hoagies too. and bagels in NYC. you can't get that stuff out here.
@lilacwoods @acw I've actually found a hoagie shop down here that's pretty amazing, and there's a food truck that serves some pretty good cheesesteaks down here (they import the rolls from Philly too!). I just can't find a replacement for a philly pretzel.
