Nite 0wl ✅Hmm, sync between federated nodes seems quite laggy. Also importing follow lists seems to be quite slow (at least on the other instance I am on).
Then again that instance has been a bit unstable today.
don't follow me🐰😛@nite0wl sometimes importing a follow list just doesn't work. there was (is?) a bug where if the process hits a single error, it stops processing the whole list. no idea if it's been fixed? and if there is, who knows if your instance has that fix
@bunnyhero Interesting. I have given it a few hours so I will see if it has improved at all.
@bunnyhero Taking a look at it, the main point of failure is that the other instance is lagging on indexing the account directory of the other federated nodes. Attempting manual searches for the accounts that aren't importing from the CSV generally don't show up on manual searches either, this suggests my issue is lag in syncing account directories between nodes.

@bunnyhero pretty much the same problem that drove me mad at an old job where AD replication took up to an hour just to sync things like unlocking an account.
