PSA: If you are in the web view of a remote instance of some user or toot, you cannot directly reply/boost/fav.

But you can copypaste the URL into your local Mastodon server's "Search" field, then it allows you to interact!

Wasn't obvious to me, so maybe boost this if it helped you. :)

@natanji The lack of anything in the direct toot view is a horrible UX. Even if I look at a toot from my own instance, the best I'll get is a link to "see on web" (as if I weren't looking at it on the web anyway), and then it loads into the tweetdeck style view where I can otherwise interact with it... @Gargron plsplspls :3
