what's actually more valuable to you, where are you going to direct your voice, effort, and money? i'm not the only one paying attention.

I promote and patronize those who've done something useful to me personally, or to a cause I care about, and are continuing to do so. I don't promote and patronize based on sob stories such as this post.

Everyone has a sob story. We overcome them by creating value for others, and social connections of mutual value. Then we have less to sob about.
