@dzuk i wanted a sidekick so bad when i was a kid, but by the time I could finally get a "communicator", Verizon had the EnV, which functioned similar enough not to switch to T-Mobile for the sidekick.
@Aros Heh, I think i was in the same camp. The closest I got to it later on was either an N-Gage or a T-Mobile G1.
@dzuk oh shit i had one of these! it was the coolest thing when i was in middle school/early high school and i remember people asking to text me so they could see the scroll wheel light up. it seemed so cutting edge at the time....
@dzuk the Sidekick was the de rigueur device for my sf crew of nerds when it was still supported. Such a great phone. I still miss that keyboard.
