@sarahjeong I think the backlash comes more from the non-mastodon fediverse members that have apparently had issues with said founder in the past, but maybe I'm wrong as I'm not aware of what specific backlash this is in reference to :relaxed:

Personally I find it sort of irrelevant to the story in terms of the sudden popularity but I suppose I understand where they're coming from.

@Thracky @sarahjeong There is definitely some beef. I think it might be due to gargron dragging them kicking and screaming into usability.
