It seems like new posts from people I follow show up on the timeline. I may need to configure what sites show up on the federated timeline. Just need to find where I do that.

@greenmanspirit Cheers. It could be something to do with mastodon.social being on fire right now. I'll leave it until tomorrow and see how things are then.

@pixelguff I just saw another person say that the federated timeline is built off of who you follow and who other people on your instance follow. So for a solo instance like mine, I am stuck with just the people I follow.

@greenmanspirit You can't...it's an amalgamation of what everyone on your instance follows. You can mute/block the stuff that most annoys you, but that's it.
