Alright folks, I've seen several apps available for #Mastodon (github.com/tootsuite/mastodon/blob/master/docs/Using-Mastodon/Apps.md)

Running Android here, and I'm too lazy to try all of them. Which one do you use? Which one would you recommend?

Tusky? Mastodroid? TootyFruity?
11t? Maybe others?

@amasikel using tusky here. functional but has some issues. no profile edit, notifications are spotty (get follows but not others with all activated) does have a dark or light theme, does not have a prompt for direct sharing things from other sources
@path Alright thanks :smiley: So it's good for a first, but still perfectible. Did you find better with others?
@amasikel so far it's been the best for Android, continuing search as I'm certain that with the heavy tech influx new & improved will be appearing shortly.
@path Cool. Thanks for your feedback! Will give it a try then. I'm sure others will pop. After all it's open-source and there's been a huge press coverage today and all... So let's wait and see :slight_smile:
@amasikel I'm using Tusky and enjoying it!
@bdenh Cool :smiley: What do you like the most? Is it close enough to the desktop experience? Did you try others or just this one.
@amasikel I tried 11t and it didn't work out for me, but it was still really basic when I tried it. It might have improved since then. It is quite close to the desktop experience, although I have the feeling there is some lag in performance from time to time. That might also be due to the heavy userload of late.
@bdenh Yeah I'm not sure this has something to do with the app itself. But I see what you mean. Will give Tusky a try then :slight_smile: Thanks for your feedback!
@amasikel Tusky is solid
@schlink @anthony Thanks for your feedbacks! Well Tusky is coming up as... well... It's the only one to come up :smile: Will go with this one then
